VYBΞ Summer Sessions: Capitol Groove brings open-air electronic music back to the National Mall for a daytime-to-evening session near the Washington Monument. Join us Saturday, August 1 from 2–8 PM for a free outdoor gathering built around danceable music, local artists, and easy summer energy in one of DC’s most iconic public spaces. Expect a social, welcoming session with electronic sounds made for dancing, hanging out, meeting people, and catching the sunset stretch near the Monument. The music will move across Afro House, Tech House, Progressive House, Melodic House, and other summer-ready electronic sounds , approachable, energetic, and built for people who want more than background music. Bring a towel, blanket, chair, water, snacks, or a cooler if you want to settle in for the afternoon and evening. Please be respectful of the space, the public, nearby monuments and memorials, other visitors, and everyone around you. Most importantly: pack out everything you bring in. There are no event-provided trash cans, cleanup stations, tables, tents, or amenities. Whatever you bring, you are responsible for taking with you when you leave. Free RSVP encouraged.
