Masters of Puppets Teaser Portugal returns to Mafra for a special open-air gathering exploring the deeper edges of underground electronic music — darkpsy, hi-tech psytrance, psycore, experimental psychedelic trance, tekno and underground techno. Hosted by Changa Records & RPM, this event brings together the psychedelic and rave communities for 28 hours of uninterrupted music, powerful sound systems and a carefully curated lineup of international and local artists. Masters of Puppets Festival is globally recognized as the largest gathering for darkpsy and hi-tech psychedelic trance. For more than 11 years in the Czech Republic, the festival has become legendary for its immersive stage design, powerful sound systems and a worldwide community that gathers for a full week of non-stop darkpsy, psycore and experimental psychedelic music. For many, it’s the one week of the year they look forward to the most. In 2025, Masters of Puppets expanded its universe with the first open-air edition in Portugal — a milestone moment that will remain in the history of darkpsy and hi-tech events in the country. The gathering brought together artists, dancers and underground communities from across Europe, marking Portugal’s place within the global psychedelic movement. What began last year continues and evolves in 2026. 🖤🔥 After the impact of the first Masters of Puppets Teaser in Portugal, the movement returns to Mafra for its second open-air pre-party. This gathering is not designed as a simple warm-up, but as the continuation of a cultural moment that confirmed Portugal’s place within the international darkpsy, hi-tech and psycore scene. Built by and for the underground community, this edition deepens the vision with sharper curatorship, stronger technical delivery and a shared sense of purpose. Expect 28 hours of uninterrupted music exploring the deepest edges of psychedelic sound — darkpsy, hi-tech psytrance, psycore, experimental psychedelic frequencies and underground rave energy. The experience will be delivered through a high-end sound system designed to handle extreme psychedelic music with clarity, depth and power. Set in the open landscapes of Mafra, just outside Lisbon, the event brings together the Portuguese scene and an international audience for an immersive experience where sound, space and community align. The line-up has been carefully curated, featuring artists with more than two decades of music production whose work continues to influence the global darkpsy and hi-tech psytrance movement. Necropsycho & Demonizz have been active since the early 2000s, traveling the world through their music while crafting powerful sonic journeys that merge darkpsy, experimental psychedelic trance and dark-goa influences. Demonizz is also the founder of Coletivo Darklab, the first darkpsy music production school in Latin America, helping shape a new generation of producers. Sectio Aurea, the project of Chris and Marina, are widely recognized as pioneers of experimental psycore and high-intensity psychedelic sound design. Their live performances are known for their emotional depth and mastery of tension and release, creating powerful dancefloor experiences. For the first time in Portugal, they will present their joint project with Necropsycho — a rare and unpredictable collaboration. AVVVA is the project of Kliment, a producer with more than 25 years of psychedelic music production. Known for shaping the sound of dark progressive psytrance on Zenon Records, this new project explores faster BPM territories while maintaining the depth, groove and spatial textures associated with the zenonesque sound. This will be AVVVA’s first performance in Portugal. Pluriverso, the project of Tiago and Marilia, is highly respected within the global psychedelic community and was cherished by the legendary Goa Gil, appearing multiple times in his Divine Dozen charts. Their sound explores strange and hypnotic territories between 150 and 180 BPM, delivering a unique psychedelic identity rarely seen on Portuguese lineups. Prismatix draws inspiration from rap, metal and psychedelic trance. After discovering music production at a young age, he developed a highly technical and energetic hi-tech psychedelic style inspired by the Austrian Alps and Russian pioneers such as Kindzadza and Furious. For this event he will perform for the first time in Portugal with a completely unreleased live set. Behind Will O Wisp stands Gaston Mellino, a visionary Argentinian producer and one of the pioneers of the South American darkpsy movement. For nearly two decades he has pushed the boundaries of psychedelic sound, bridging darkpsy intensity with cutting-edge hi-tech precision through releases on Dark Prisma Records and OSOM Music. For our Teaser Party he will perform a special 4-hour extended live set exploring the past, present and future of his sonic universe. Tykyra is a Brazilian darkpsy and hi-tech producer from the northern region of the country. Active in the psychedelic scene since 2014, his music blends experimentation, musicality and psychedelic storytelling, delivering playful yet powerful high-energy rhythms. Masters of Puppets has also been developing a vision to connect the psytrance world with the roots of the European rave and free-party movement. For this edition we introduce a special crossover featuring artists from the tekno, tribe, acidcore and underground techno scenes — two cultures united by powerful sound systems, long-form dancefloor journeys and a strong DIY spirit. Pneumatix is the project of Romanian producer Adrian Pricope, a long-standing figure in Europe’s underground electronic scene and a driving force behind the SleepNot! Soundsystem collective. Active for many years as both a DJ and producer, he has built a reputation through an extensive catalogue of releases and collaborations exploring the intersections of tekno, tribe, acid and mental sound. His music channels the raw spirit of the European free-party movement, blending hypnotic tribal rhythms with acid-driven textures and psychedelic atmospheres designed for long nights on powerful sound systems. Suburbass is the long-running live project of French producer Joël Tambour, active in electronic music since 1984 and performing live as Suburbass since 1996. Rooted in the European freetekno and sound system movement, he is widely regarded as one of the pioneers and ambassadors of the French tekno scene. Across decades of activity he has performed at hundreds of events around the world and released music across tekno, acidcore, tribe, hard techno and underground rave styles. Hosting Suburbass means welcoming a foundational artist of the European underground and bringing real rave history to the dancefloor. This is the second chapter of an ongoing movement.
