Sobre

Hoy Como Ayer isn’t just a venue—it’s a rhythm, a memory, a Miami classic reimagined for a new era.

Originally opened in 1999, Hoy Como Ayer became a cultural cornerstone of Little Havana—a place where salsa dura, sabor, and comunidad came together under one roof. Home to legends like Celia Cruz and the Fania All Stars, it stood as a sanctuary for Latin music and Miami’s unmistakable spirit. After closing in 2019, the story could’ve ended—but in 2024, Hoy Como Ayer was reborn. Not as a replica of the past, but as a bold evolution of it.

Today, the music still leads—but now it’s layered with intention. Our cocktails pay homage to cantinero tradition while pushing into something more playful, more Miami, more now.

Our space moves with the night. Guests flow from Hoy Como Ayer (main room) , where live Latin sounds set the tone, to El Patio, an outdoor corner made for golden-hour drinks and laid-back hangs. And as the evening deepens, La Sala takes over—our intimate late-night escape with full bar service and genre-blending DJ sets that stretch from soul to global grooves (La Sala is currently closed as of March 2026 and available for private events only).
