Kokölò is a record label founded by Rave Child, with the help of Alfonsvs and Adriana Ruas. The label’s name can mean many things, depending on who is hearing this seemingly odd word. It can be a bird’s song, a children’s made up word, a game, a place... But for us, it means “to move forward”!
And “to move forward” also clearly describes the ethos of the label that has just been brought to life in the early 2022, in Portugal. The purpose of the label is to not focus on a single genre of electronic music, but to convey a specific mood... or a state of freedom. Euphoric moments, drama and sound travels can all be connected. The distinction between them is only - to quote Einstein’s view on time - “a stubbornly persistent illusion”. This sentence continues to be a great inspiration for the label founders. Created by Rave Child, the label doesn't have as its sole focus the music of its own, but also the music of the involved artists. In the last two years, we have seen the release of three projects featuring remixes by .Vril and Answer Code Request.
