All her life, Charlotte Boisselier has never decided between her fascination for the energy of the clubs and her passion for the haunted melodies of a dark pop. After months of frantic tours and creating with the dazzling bands Ambeyance and Oktober Lieber, she has now been working solo for the past three years, carving out a more intimate path and bringing long standing explorations to life. Feeding her inferno with 80s influences, she conjures up modern Italo, heavy-footed dark pop, galvanizing EBM and ecstatic techno in a stormy atmosphere, fusing melancholy and joy, dance and introspection. By appropriating these registers and their contradictions, she has put together the exciting first EP “Smog”, released in the fall of 2021 on Ritmo Fatale. Just after, she released “HEX”, on the Warriorecords label. More recently, two of her new tracks were released on the Club Forever label, and she took part in the latest compilation by New York label Samo Records. She is currently working on her first album !
