About
The Daniel Gassin Crossover Band’s name hints at its music: an intersection of modern jazz and contemporary rhythms. The musicians’ diverse backgrounds fit the music perfectly – US vocal sensation Alita Moses fronts the band, while multi-instrumentalist and Grammy-winner Josiah Woodson plays guitar. The rhythm section comprises Franco-Columbian Fabricio Nicolas-Garcia (bass) and French drummer Damien Françon. The band’s album release concert was held in September 2021 at France’s premier jazz club, the Duc des Lombards. They have performed at Jazz à Juan, Festival Jazz sur Seine, Sibiu International Jazz Festival and Jazz on Dneiper festival.
