Using the decks as a vessel to pay homage to dance music’s black roots, Ether Pleaser blends a range of sounds that harness melodic vibrations, euphonic tones, and unforgiving kicks to create enchanting sagas. His mixes perfectly harmonize techno and hard dance selections together, keeping dancers somatically immersed in his sound. Ether Pleaser’s sound has earned him spots on lineups alongside international acts like NIKS, DJ Heartstring, and Ben UFO. As a local mainstay, he’s played parties hosted by Black Techno Matters, Heaven Dancing Club, and Hast De Feuer. His commitment to the scene, and love for the music, shine through his work throwing his own party, ETHERNET, and as an organizer and resident DJ for DC-based DJ collectives Friends With Benefits and 140+.
