So-called Australia’s, Gillielove is now based in Paris. Gillie works hypnotic grooves, broken percussions, mutant basslines, oddball electronics and all things experimental into a dancer’s revel. Gillie started their journey recording mixes at home in 2020 before curating the Off Duty show on beloved Eora (Sydney) based independent radio station Nomad, hosting artists like Mike Midnight, Sina, Ivy and Oliver Kay. Gillie has also recorded mixes for Rinse France, Kiosk, Noods, Lyl Radio, Triple J, FBI Radio, Steeplejack, Pure Space, Transitions, Theory Therapy and Bleus. Gillie has supported artists like Lorraine James, DjRum, Batu, DJ Plead, ¥ØU$UK€ ¥UK1MAT$U, Tom Boogizm, Cassius Select, Underground Resistance, DJ Bone, Konduku, TSVI and MC Yallah. In 2023 Gillielove made their production debut alongside Command D, self-releasing the track L’s. 2024 brings the release of their first solo production ‘Procession in Dante’s Square’ on Beatrice M.’s Bait Label and a collaboration with Slow83 on General Merchant. 2025 sees remixes for No Sir on De la je l'espere, and tracks for ex.ssess’ forthcoming EP on Traverse and Ethos Records' latest V/A Dancing Poetry iii.
