Ian Melt shapes a sonic universe driven by movement, repetition, and transformation. As the founder of the label and collective 𝖒𝖊𝖑𝖙𝖉𝖔𝖜𝖓, he embodies a constant drive for metamorphosis, where each set becomes a rite of passage into altered states of consciousness. Emerging from the hardest sides of techno, he has gradually reinvented himself to delve into a more hypnotic and mental spectrum. His selections now journey through techno and psy, infused with acid accents. Each of his performances unfolds as a slow-burning ascent, where tension melts into liquid textures, entrancing grooves, and mystic soundscapes – striking a fragile balance between introspection and collective momentum. As a producer, Ian Melt has released music on Motz, Jahanam, Sindex, Scourge, via self-releases and on his own label 𝖒𝖊𝖑𝖙𝖉𝖔𝖜𝖓, steadily carving out a sound that transcends boundaries in order to sublimate them.
