French trumpeter and multi-instrumentalist Lakay made the leap into electronic music in the early 2000s. Listening to his projects, a debut album « Enjoy People » (Hadra Records and Salamah Productions) released in 2011 followed by « Metis'Sage Community » released in 2015 (Hadra Records and Salamah Productions), « Awake Experience » released in 2020 (Hadra Altervision Records and Salamah Production) and his new EP « Shamanik Experience » released in January 2025 (Hadra Altervision Records and Salamah Production), it's easy to see that we're dealing with a lover of travel, whether physical or musical. The movement of people around the world, the movement of the mind as it wanders, and the movement of bodies as they dance - is the raw material of Lakay's work. Skilfully blending electronic synths with traditional instruments, he has surrounded himself with artists from different worlds, enabling his music to grow richer and travel further afield.
