Lauren Nikohl is an independent singer, songwriter, producer, and DJ, on a mission to raise the collective consciousness through music. Originally from Minnesota, Lauren’s powerhouse vocals and soul-stirring sound have found a home in Los Angeles, California, where she has been based since 2015. Inspired by a diverse range of artists, including Rüfüs Du Sol, Jan Blomqvist, Tame Impala, Queen, David Bowie, WhoMadeWho, Stevie Nicks, DRAMA, Jess Glynne, and Daft Punk, Lauren crafts a soundscape that fuses indie pop, alternative dance, psychedelic electronic, and melodic/vocal house. Her introspective and empowering lyrics are designed to inspire self-reflection and elevate the spirit. Lauren’s journey began with a love for singing and songwriting as a child that led to her debut Indie Pop/Soul EP, The Night, in 2015. She gained further recognition with her first EDM single, “Against the Wind”, produced by Grammy-winning and Billboard-charting artist Robert Eibach. During the pandemic, she honed her skills as a producer and DJ, blending her signature melodic style with electronic, psychedelic, and house influences. On 11/11/22, she released her debut album, Ascend, a transcendent exploration of universal consciousness, spiritual awakening, and self-awareness, tuned to 432Hz—a frequency with healing properties. Lauren Nikohl is redefining the intersection of spirituality and electronic music, creating a sonic experience that resonates deeply with the mind, body, and soul.
