Initio is a powerful aesthetic manifesto in which Mark Priore, accompanied by Elie Martin-Charriere on drums and Juan Villarroel on bass, a rhythm section of young talent, exposes his influences and roots, blends styles and creates a singular artistic line that asserts a direction with direction. Highly inspired by Handel's baroque verve, the pianist blends it with jazz and references from the anthology of jazz trio. Initio, as a tribute to the origins of the band, but also the moment when everything begins. The starting point of an artistic impulse of his own for a young, very modern pianist.
