Marlie’s story begins in London, where she traded the shores of Sydney for the hum of Europe’s underground. The move set her on a new course shaped by rhythm, discipline, and curiosity. Years spent competing as an international gymnast gave her a natural sense of flow and precision, qualities that now define her sound behind the decks. Her project Roots began in Sydney, taking over small, improvised spaces before finding its footing in London, from intimate gatherings to Room 2 at Fabric. What started as a local idea became a platform for connection and forward-thinking sounds. She has since played hundreds of shows across Europe and beyond, including appearances at Fabric, DC10, FUSE, and Shelter - Some of the world’s most respected dancefloors. With more exciting projects on the horizon, Marlie continues to carve her path with focus and forward motion, always in the driver’s seat.
