About

MIRAI is the electronic music project of Brazilian multi-artist Carla Veras, based in Paris. Singer, songwriter, actress, and music producer, MIRAI translates emotion into sound with identity, energy, and connection. Her live sets blend hot grooves, live vocals, and Brazilian flair, creating vibrant, sunny, and engaging dancefloors. Carla began her journey in electronic music as a singer in 2018, collaborating with Brasília-based DJ and producer Freakaholics. From this partnership, four tracks were released by Alien Records — “Penta Loco”, “Poesia”, “Vou Dizer” and “Pode Ser”, the latter reaching #1 on Beatport. Together, these songs have amassed over 1.5 million Spotify plays and led Carla to perform on major stages across Brazil, including SoulVision, Federal Music, Psycotrance, Magic Island, Flip Out, Music On, Discodelic, and Low Club. After taking a break in 2019 to focus on acting and her original music with the release of the EP “L.U.A”, Carla deepened her skills in music production and rediscovered electronic music as a space of freedom and authenticity. This gave birth to MIRAI — a project that combines emotional and theatrical experience with dancefloor power. In her sets, every beat invites the audience to dance freely and remember the joy of being alive. MIRAI explores sounds such as Disco/Nu Disco, Funky House, Groove House, Soulful, and Tech House with Latin touches, always blended organically and guided by the energy of the moment. With vocals in Portuguese, Spanish, and English, she brings Brazilian identity and linguistic diversity to electronic music, creating a unique and vibrant experience. On stage, MIRAI sings, dances, and gives herself completely: unfiltered voice, hot groove, and genuine connection with the audience. More than music, MIRAI is a manifesto of freedom — a space where people dance without fear, have fun without guilt, and live fully in the moment. Currently based in Paris, MIRAI develops the project and collaborates with artists and collectives in France, Portugal, and Brazil. MIRAI is music for those who feel everything.
