Quatuor Hanson

Formed in 2013, the Hanson Quartet brings together violinists Anton Hanson and Jules Dussap, violist Gabrielle Lafait and cellist Simon Dechambre. After studying at various conservatories, the musicians won international competitions in Geneva, Vienna and Lyon (Haydn Prize) and performed at festivals (Roque d'Anthéron, Aix-en-Provence). Specializing in the repertoire of Josef Haydn, the Hanson Quartet is recording a dedicated album for the Aparté label in 2019. The quartet also took part in the recording of the soundtrack for the film Soeurs d'armes (2019), with music by Mathieu Lamboley, and for the radio drama Madame Bovary (2020) by the same composer. The Hanson Quartet's musical field also extends to contemporary music.
