Marseille's DJ and producer RAVL delivers a break and melancholic universe, combining the warmth of analog synthesizers and icy percussions in a meticulously sharp sound design, infused with textured Hard Drum, UK Garage, and rumbling Techno. His productions mirror his influences, rooted in a Bass Music intertwined with Anglo-Saxon Techno, branching into IDM and Jungle, sometimes tinted with shamanic South American Club culture, thus showcasing a unique, hybrid, and resolutely modern style. As a prolific producer, he releases on remarkable labels such as YUKU, [re]sources, Bad Tips, and Nü Kvlture, on which the highly acclaimed "Outrenoir" was released. It has been played worldwide, including at Blumitsu's Boiler Room at Boomtown Fair and by Jamie XX at Making Time. Collaborating with artists like Tim Karbon, Leese, HI ROSIE, and many other prominent figures in the French Bass Music scene, RAVL rightfully earns his place within this new generation, representing the Phocaean city on pioneering line-ups such as Metaphore Collectif, Animals Industry, Basses Fréquences, POLAAR, and even at Paris Electronic Week.
