Sam O.B. is a music producer whose influences are as diverse as his sound is soulful. A positive musical spirit, veteran DJ, and label mastermind, Sam has cultivated a vividly colorful sonic and emotional landscape where his music resides. His sound blends across decades, with clear nods to the freeform expressionist synths of the masters of the 70s, euphoric house beats of the 90s, punchy bass of today, and a mindfulness that transcends any era. No stranger to community, he is a member of musical outfits Ensemble Entendu and Dave & Sam, and has remixed artists such as Photay, The Range, Potatohead People and Michael Beharie. He’s released records with Bastard Jazz, LuckyMe (UK), Astro Nautico (a label he co-founded), and Classic Music Company. His most recent and second full-length album titled 𝘛𝘖𝘖 𝘔𝘈𝘕𝘠 𝘏𝘜𝘔𝘈𝘕𝘚 𝘕𝘖𝘛 𝘌𝘕𝘖𝘜𝘎𝘏 𝘚𝘖𝘜𝘓𝘚 explores themes of disconnection, overstimulation and the challenges brought on by differences between all of us.
