About
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Playing Guitar Hero 3 in 2007. But I'm sure somewhere in our hearts we still remember the rock music our parents' played while we were in the womb. No wonder our music kicks.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Deftones, Saturday Night Wrist (Bonus Track Version) Bonus Track Version Los Mesoneros, Indeleble The Marías, Submarine The Marias: Their atmospheric, passionate blend of English and Spanish. Los Mesoneros: The nostalgic, introspective lyrics over energetic indie rock, Latin alternative. Deftones: Simultaneously beautiful and brutal, dark and dreamy.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “So So” It has everything we represent: angst, trauma, a mix of English and spanish, a powerful bassline, an energetic chorus, a killer guitar solo, dynamics, range, reggaeton-infused pre choruses and confident verses. Not to mention, it's our first song.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? The very first jam session we had, our singer, JOCHI, freestyled over a psychedelic groove, and then exploded into a passionate hard rock chorus. None of it was written. None of it made any sense. But it told our story. We haven't looked back since.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? We're hungry for plenty: Bring our Spanglish rock live to cities from Miami to Madrid. Continue to mix rock with reggaetón, cumbia, and other Latin flavors. Help define the immigrant story. Let people find themselves in our music, one song at a time.
