Description
DESYNC is a cultural disconnection hosted by Heaven Dancing Club. A night of striking Techno cradled in a dungeonesque warehouse loft — find darkness, tension, aggression, and peace. We return to Fabrica with DESYNC: a night designed to interact with Techno in deeply personal, human ways. Through the masked darkness, distant, peaking lights cast over dancing minimal visuals, creating a barrier of design that stands before you. With the dancefloor removed from the DJ, sound becomes your first contact with their raw, unadulterated Techno artistry. No phones, no cameras — just pure, unfiltered expression. For her long-awaited return, CLAUDIX brings her antagonizing and sharply cut selections to DESYNC. Rounding off the night, the storied D.C. selector shreds deep sub-bass with 303s like you wouldn’t believe. Metronomic, percussive — dare it be said — groovy. CLAUDIX strikes that dark, cerebral chord within you. HDC’s own Jade Cao stages her very first primetime extended set. D.C.’s fastest-rising Techno talent makes her headline debut, no bars held. With an old-school punk attitude, Jade Cao hypnotizes those on the receiving end. Combative, abrasive, and introspective — her Techno is uniquely her own. Jade Cao, unleashed. Brooklyn’s premier high-octane architect, Michelle Kay, joins DESYNC, working the late shift. Sensual, compressed, and raw — her Techno effortlessly blends classic New York grit with contemporary groove. Michelle Kay’s uncompromising potency has earned her performances at acclaimed institutions such as H0L0, Elsewhere, SILO, and Signal. As the creative director for the NYC-based label IMPULSE CØNTROL, Michelle Kay works to advance Techno’s cultural progressiveness. Making his Washington, D.C. debut, the newly local SRNK (Surrender To The Unknown) burns the floor with high-pressure, Berlin-esque Techno. The Chilean SRNK uniquely fuses melodic industrial samples with floating polyrhythmic punch. Eklektrik Elektrik’s formidable and legendary TurboSound system returns in full deployment — the single most transparent and aggressive sound system in D.C. Come as you are. Dress to sweat. // We will provide phone camera–covering stickers for this event. We ask that you refrain from photography in our space out of respect for your fellow dancers, DJs, and artists. Absolutely no cameras of any kind. // December 5th 23:00 La Fabrica 21+ // At Heaven Dancing Club, we demand that our space remain a home of respect and love. Intolerance, aggression, and unpleasant or unsafe behavior will not be tolerated. Please, no phones on the dance floor. //
