54 Sound Invites Idren Leeroy

54Sound invites Idren Leeroy (I-lee records) Idren Leeroy (Rouen FR) Emerging from the Steppin Forward Hi Fi sound system, Idren Leeroy has dedicated himself to music production since the late 2000s. Following an initial release on Steppin Forward in 2016, his work has appeared on various labels, including Chouette Records, Jah Roots, and Blackboard Jungle. Encouraged by his peers and fellow dubmakers, he founded I-Lee Records in 2026, launching the label with the *Sound Meeting* maxi-vinyl. Spanning modern roots, steppers, 1980s digital reggae, and 1990s-style vibrations, the label explores diverse facets of reggae with an approach that is free, sincere, and firmly rooted in the sound system tradition.
