Sobre nosotros
Alarico brings the full force of his vision to BASEMENT. The Italian techno producer has been a key figure in a new wave of artists who are reshaping the genre into something fresh: brutal yet grooving and immaculately dirt-caked. Of the modern crop, Alarico is one of the best, standing apart both in his productions and his curation. He co-runs the essential Primal Instinct label with Chlär and has released steadily on hubs like KEY Vinyl, Mutual Rytm and Klockworks. He’s joined by AMORAL, returning to the room from Amsterdam. AMORAL’s spacious, driving sound rides a perfect line between steely brutalism and expansive grooviness. Concrete Husband is back following the release of his landmark “Where The Ashes Glow.” A truly multidisciplinary artist, Concrete Husband splits time between avant garde composition, drawing on his training as a classical flautist, and heaving techno. “Where The Ashes Glow” is his most unified work to date, bridging these poles with elegant physicality and penetrating pathos. London’s fka.m4a draws on the essential buoyancy of house music. Active for over a decade in the underground, he brings a free-spirited, bubblegum sensibility to the genre, embracing its gooeyist, fizziest qualities. But that’s not at the expense of depth. fka.m4a can steer the ship into harder waters when necessary, pushing the mix to revelatory heights. Tommy Hart is a true believer. A devotee of house music’s communal spirit and liberatory ethos, the Mexico City-based artist is on a mission to deliver transcendence, one classic at a time. Ana B takes a break from her day job as techno sorceress to deliver a special house set. The Ukrainian DJ is known for her intuitive, inclusive approach to genre, with tracks from across the spectrum woven into a cohesive whole. This rare appearance at STUDIO will be special. ■ No photos or videos ■ Ticket purchase does not guarantee entrance ■ No phone use on the dancefloor ■ The dance floor is for dancing, not conversation ■ No glowing/flashing clothes or items ■ Respect other people's space, no shuffling ■ Consent is mandatory ■ Zero tolerance for racism, homophobia, transphobia, sexism, ableism or any form of discrimination ■ Take care of each other, alert our staff if somebody isn't feeling well ■ Violating the house rules will result in removal PLEASE REVIEW HOUSE POLICIES AT LINK BELOW
