Amsterdam Techno Sessions is a weekly Techno event held every Thursday in Amsterdam. Local and international artists are invited to showcase their work and share their personal interpretations of Techno every week Tonight, Thursday 16th of July 2026, we´re back at John Doe for our weekly Techno rendezvous. And for this one we invited Second Gate aka 500MA. 500MA is the project Daniel Solis created to explore techno's deepest, most psychedelic sounds. More than an alias, 500MA is a relentless sonic ritual where powerful low-end meets primal percussion and hypnotic synths to submerge the dancefloor in a frenetic, mental atmosphere. With well over a decade of experience and a history of sharing the stage with the likes of Rene Wise, Truncate, Andy Martin, Ricardo Garduno, Alejandro Franco, Luis Flores, Paurro and Zombies in Miami, 500MA has proven his technique and selection are up to the task of the most demanding line-ups. With upcoming releases on labels like Illegal Alien Records and a series of parties booming around Mexico, his talents as a producer and as a promoter of the true underground are bound to lay a promising future for this artist. A natural storyteller and a purist selector, Daniel makes every set a meticulously crafted journey, where abstract grooves provide the starting point for a psychedelic and ritual journey in which frenetic energy meets introspection.
