Amsterdam Techno Sessions W/ Jauri & Bimol - Colombia

Amsterdam Techno Sessions is a weekly Techno event held every Thursday in Amsterdam. Local and international artists are invited to showcase their work and share their personal interpretations of Techno every week. Tonight! 06th of November 2025, we´re back at John Doe for another special event. And for this one, we prepared a truly special night headlined by the Combian Techno duo, Bimol and the Kontra Records head honcho, Jauri. Bimol is a Colombian art project, made-up of designer Donna Lace and producer and promoter Theo Jah Leon. Their sound is the accomplishment of years of research and experimentation with techno, breaks and IDM. They propose a journey between rousing and eccentric rhythms adorned with introspective and lyrical atmospheres that are born from the social and political situation of their country. They are co-creators of KONTRA IMPRINT, an thorough project dedicated to artistic creation that reflects on the past and present of the daily and political situation in Latin America, exalting the artistic work of independent and emerging artists in the region. Without a doubt, it is one of the artistic projects that puts its effort on the growth of the culture and the Colombian electronic music scene. Jauri (Theo Jah León) is a versatile producer, DJ, live performer, and promoter based in Bogotá. As part of the duo Bimol, co-creator of the Kontra label, and co-founder of Radikal Styles Festival, Jauri is deeply embedded in Bogotá’s underground music scene. Constantly pushing his artistic boundaries, his sound journeys through hypnotic rhythms, rich textures, and immersive soundscapes, creating dynamic audiovisual experiences. Jauri’s performances are adaptable, ranging from DJ sets to live acts, offering a unique experience in every format. Whether through his own productions, supporting other artists, or organising groundbreaking events, he plays a vital role in shaping and strengthening the city’s electronic music culture. Driven by a passion for musical exploration, Jauri is committed to advancing Bogotá’s vibrant underground scene. Marco Ramos will be in charge of the warm-up session.
