Amsterdam Techno Sessions W/ Monknash & Marco Ramos (Anaøh)

Amsterdam Techno Sessions is a weekly Techno event held every Thursday in Amsterdam. Local and international artists are invited to showcase their work and share their personal interpretations of Techno every week. Tonight, Thursday 01st of January 2026, we´re back to John Doe, for our first event of 2026! And for this one, we prepared a special night headlined by the Estonian, Techno talent, Monknash and Marco Ramos. Estonian artist Monknash blends heavy percussion and warped basslines with emotional intensity, creating dark, driving soundscapes charged with a sense of release. Her debut track, Skalapendra, was released on the Scottish label Still Distant Records as part of the VA Dark To Black compilation. Performing both live and as a DJ, she has established herself in alternative venues from her home scenes to Berlin, Brussels, Istanbul, and more recently Detroit. While primarily performing techno, Monknash also appears in diverse contexts reflecting a fluid and fearless approach to sound. Join us at John Doe from 23:00 until 04:00. Tickets are now available.
