Amsterdam Techno Sessions W/ Surgeles (Warm-Up Recordings)

Amsterdam Techno Sessions is a weekly Techno event held every Thursday in Amsterdam. Local and international artists are invited to showcase their work and share their personal interpretations of Techno every week. Tonight! Saturday 19th September 2026, we´re back at John Doe, for another special event. And for this one, we invited Dutch hypnotic Techno master Surgeles to headline the night. DJ Surgeles (Kole Leijen) has been deep in the underground since his early teens. Raised on everything from Pink Floyd and Emerson, Lake & Palmer to early House, he discovered Techno at 15 and quickly became obsessed with vinyl, digging and building his own sound. Dark, warm and pounding, his style is rooted in raw, uncompromising Techno. By 16, he was already playing parties in Amsterdam, soon gaining recognition from key figures including Jeff Mills and Dave Clarke. His career has taken him through clubs, radio and labels, including his own Underground Freedom Fighters (UFF), while sharing lineups with names such as Regis, Bas Mooy, Steve Rachmad, Echoplex and Rumenige & Loktibrada. No trends. No shortcuts. Just deep digging, vinyl and serious Techno. To top up the night, we added the Belgian techno trailblazer, Raziel Tymrak and Marco Ramos to the bill.
