Step inside the former home of the Mergenthaler Linotype Company, where metal type, machinery and imagination once shaped the printed page. Today, its raw concrete walls, original industrial details, archival newspaper artwork and endless shelves of books become the backdrop for an entirely new chapter. From 6:00 PM, the hotel comes alive with cocktails, chef-driven bites, jazz, mezmerizing artistic acts and unexpected encounters around every corner. Wander through hidden spaces. Follow a literary guide through the library. Take home a poem written just for you on a vintage typewriter. Discover secret messages, edible notes, live artists and intimate performances woven throughout the building. As the sun sets, the celebration spills into the courtyard with JUNXION’S yearly ONE SUMMER NIGHT Parade!! Dive in to the sunset with live painters, performers, stilt walkers, music, art installations and an incredible atmosphere of love and fun that transforms the grounds into an unforgettable gathering. At 10:00 PM, another chapter unfolds. The doors to the basement open, revealing the hotel’s original industrial heart. Beneath the concrete and steel, the atmosphere shifts into something deeper, louder and entirely unexpected. Thoughtfully curated music, expect the most vibrant music, iimmersive performances and late-night energy carry the evening well into the early hours.
