Aujourd'hui, c'est toujours le cas. Le groupe bruxellois Partikul est l'un des porte-drapeaux de la scène électro contemporaine. Depuis 2019, Aly et Stef font de l'électro sombre influencée par Lydia Lunch, Boy Harsher, Tuxedomoon, Nitzer Ebb, The Smiths, Moon Duo et The Soft Moon. The Brussels band Partikul is one of the standard bearers of the contemporary electro scene.
