Church On Sunday: Shekdash

On October 11, Church On Sunday and Break A Leg join forces to welcome NYC's SHEKDASH to Washington, D.C., taking over Tigres de la Noche for an intimate, NO-PHONES experience. A DJ, producer and Rinse FM resident, Shekdash represents an exciting new generation of Black underground dance music. Known for his pounding percussion, hypnotic rhythms and raw dance floor energy, he's carving out his own space while pushing the culture forward. Joining him is the club collective Break A Leg: TROMAC, Flotussin + DJ-SUN, bringing their own sounds and energy to the altar. Together, we're connecting communities, championing emerging Black electronic artists and exploring new corners of underground dance music. One room. Two communities. All about the music. NO PHONES.
