Gabriela, a dance club in honor of a dearly departed friend, sets the stage for Dance for the Departed, a community event hosted by Ruby Jade Rituals to respect those who have gone before us. With studies finding that dancing is one of the most effective ways to move through unpleasant emotions, Dance for the Departed is a new way to grieve - a new way to honor life.
Doors will open at 8pm on October 30th & last call will be at 1:30am on October 31st.
THIS IS A FREE, NO RSVP, NON-TICKETED, OPEN TO THE PUBLIC PARTY! COME & GO AS YOU PLEASE :)
There will be 3 djs, 2 raffles, 1 intention for the dance floor, 1 performance, 1 reader on-site, art, flowers, and a few activations to connect with our angels.
Smurfo UDirty will be creating an art piece that will be raffled off and will be the opening dj from 8pm-11pm.
Eden of Pip & Poppy will decorate Gabriela with her floral arrangements and raffle one off to a lucky dancer.
Mikki Ma'at will be providing snapshot readings on a sliding scale for those who would like to receive throughout the night.
Kenzie Dolan of Ruby Jade Rituals will be setting an intention for the dance floor. Intention will be set between the hours of 10pm-11pm.
Rachel Lee Heinkel, professional dancer, will be performing the night of the event following the intention. Dance will be performed between the hours of 10pm-11pm.
Marco & Sukha Kintsugi will be djing b2b & closing from 11pm-2am.
Costumes are optional. High spirits are mandatory. All are welcome to dance for the dead. See you on the dance floor.
