DJ Joeski has remained a prominent figure in house music for over three decades, a rare feat in an industry defined by constant change. Rising out of New York City’s early 1990s house scene as a founding member of The Chocolate Factory collective, he quickly became a fixture at legendary venues like Limelight, Tunnel, and The Roxy. By the late '90s, he had expanded his talents into production, eventually launching Maya Records in 2001—a label that would become a cornerstone of the global house sound. Tracks like “Hustler’s Revenge” and “El Amor” brought him international recognition, and his studio work for top labels like Defected, Bedrock, and Nervous only further solidified his status.
Joeski's career has remained dynamic and prolific well into the 2010s and beyond, marked by consistent chart-topping releases, international tours, and collaborations with esteemed artists like Harry Romero and Doc Martin. His Maya Sessions podcast, successful EPs like *Mind Function* and *Tribute to Obatala*, and ongoing performances across the globe demonstrate his enduring appeal. Whether headlining in Ibiza or experimenting in the studio, Joeski continues to evolve, driven by a deep passion for house music and an unwavering connection to its underground roots.
