Primo’s musical aesthetic has its roots in soul and downtempo records, which laid the foundation for his taste. Over time, he was drawn to the energy of Italo disco and trance, while the influence of Bay Area dance music also became a key part of his sound. From there, Primo continued to explore more ethereal, emotionally resonant textures—always chasing beauty and atmosphere in what he creates. His work is shaped by a desire to blend rhythm and feeling in a way that’s both immersive and expressive.
Born in Mexico City, Yibing cut her teeth working at Beats in Space with Tim Sweeney.
