In 1982 she began performing and curating spoken word shows in NYC at The Pyramid, The Knitting Factory, The Kitchen, The Performing Garage, La Mama, The Roxy Hotel and numerous other venues. She has appeared live with John Giorno, Hubert Selby Jr, Karen Finley, Jerry Stahl, Wanda Coleman, Henry Rollins, and Last Poet Umar Bin Hassan to name a few, often arranging shows and booking tours throughout America, Europe and Australia. She has presented workshops for writers throughout the USA and Europe, where she continues to tour with both music and spoken word. She has collaborated with such musical luminaries as J.G. Thirlwell, Rowland S. Howard, Thurston Moore, Omar Rodriguez - Lopez and many others. Tim Dahl is a composer and professional electric and double bass player, vocalist, keyboardist and composer living in New York City. He is best known as the front man and bass player of the noise-rock band Child Abuse and the defunct avant-jazz group The Hub. He also writes and performs for the jazz ensemble Pulverize The Sound. Dahl has toured extensively throughout North America, Europe and Japan and performed with many notable musicians, composers and performers including Yusef Lateef , Archie Shepp, Eugene Chadbourne , John Zorn, Marc Ribot, and Elliot Sharpe.
