Loudmen kick of their residency by rolling out yet another Denver debut with the genre bending talents of Bill Converse. Bill Converse is a legacy and both a revered musician and true selector. Originally hailing from Michigan and now calling Austin, Texas his home, Bill injects a Mid-West-influenced industrial moodiness to his unique flavor of chugging acid. He has released a litany of albums and EPs primarily on Dark Entries, an apt home for his modern meld of freaky electronics. His impact on contemporary techno of the past decade cannot be overstated. His range both on the decks and in the studio spans far and wide, yet always with a connecting thread of his own making. We are humbled and honored to host him for his Denver debut. Mitch Smith was a key figure in the Miami music scene, managing the revered radio station WVUM before uprooting and eventually landing in Denver. There, he met wngdu, who cut her teeth in the Seattle music scene as a DJ and music director for the radio station KUPS before returning to her home state of Colorado, where she operates her event series the Human Cluster Project and is the resident DJ for the seminal queer party Junk Drawer. Together, the Loudmen draw from the early foundations of electronic music while also maintaining a pulse on contemporary sounds. The Loudmen, as a pair as well as independently, have played along the front range and across the country, from LA and Seattle to Miami and New York. They've had the honor of sharing bills with the likes of Danny Daze, Mike Servito, Liquid Earth, Ron Like Hell and many more. This event serves as the launch of the Loudmen's residency at Stay Tuned.
