Funky District + Nanabcool - Lark, Berlin

As part of their first European tour, Funky District make their Berlin debut at Lark, following shows in Paris, London and Amsterdam. Funky District is a Paris-based funk collective blending 70s-inspired grooves, disco, soul and modern pop, with a sharp French touch. On stage, the five-piece delivers a tight, dancefloor-ready live show driven by live bass, saxophone, drums, vintage keys and infectious vocals. Dressed in 70s suits, Funky District performs a fully live set with only instruments, powered by explosive energy and unexpected on-stage moments. Joining the night is NanaBcool, a Ghanaian-American singer, rapper, and dancer known for his smooth blend of R&B, hip-hop, soul, and afrobeats. Raised in Columbus, Ohio and now based in Berlin, he brings together soulful vocals, rhythmic versatility, and influences from his Ghanaian heritage. Since emerging from the New York music scene with standout releases like ICE TEA and 2amCruise, he’s built a reputation for feel-good grooves, dynamic performances, and genre-blending creativity.
