Halt Launch Party

During Paris Art Week, Prose on Pixels, United Freaks and King Kong Magazine present the launch party for HALT, Graham Reid Van Every’s book, endorsed by Larry Clark. HALT stands for Hungry, Angry, Lonely, Tired: four states used in addiction treatment to identify potential triggers for substance use and relapse. Set across several American rehab centers, the book explores addiction and treatment from the patients’ perspective, from conversations in smoking areas to therapy sessions. Featuring a conversation between Savannah Nolan and Graham Reid Van Every, an immersive reading by Meg Superstar Princess, a live preview by Zezenotexist, and DJ sets from Velvet Brothers and POL. Open bar courtesy of Ten Days in Paris. Thursday, October 22 · 6 pm–midnight Galerie Au Roi 73–75 rue de la Fontaine au Roi, 75011 Paris
