AYAKO’s first releases “Rainforest” and “Insecure” were part of a compilation album produced by Japanese house music pioneers Soichi Terada, Shinichiro Yokota and UK-based producer pleasure cruiser. The album was released on Manchester-based label High Hoops, pressed on vinyl, and sold at the best record stores around the world. Since then, AYAKO has released a spectrum of songs that blend genres, experimenting with electronic productions as well as live instrumentation such as the harp and flute. AYAKO has been featured in magazines such as WONDERLAND, KALTBLUT, EARMILK, NOTION, METAL & more for her uniquely creative vision and style. AYAKO’s recent release, “Contemplation” ,an ambient song on the first compilation album for DREAM THEORY, a London-based label founded by Fabric London’s resident DJ and producer Anna Wall.
