I have raved & played in some incredible places, been inspired by mind-blowing genres and met like-minded DJs who are experts in the sounds they pioneer. I want to bring all that energy to South East London, Peckham.” Dance Around The World is an experiential clubbing journey celebrating global rhythms from Africa, Latin America, & The Caribbean. Each event will zone in on a region and specific genres that have lit up international dancefloors. This run of events is for curious ears or dance enthusiasts looking for a dose of home. --- Pushing the speakers to the limit with; Jus Now is the vibrant and exhilarating fusion of Trinidadian Soca rhythms with the sub-heavy sound of the UK Underground. These carnival kings have worked with the likes of Bunji Garlin, Busy Signal, Style G and more. Expect pure energy. Rapper Louis VI taps into his Dominican roots and takes us on a Bouyon journey. After spending much time on his home island, he passionately shares through sound what it means to be a Dominican. Superstar singer & DJ Yazmin Lacey draws on her Jamaican & British identity in both her music and selections, throwing down a bad girl set of Reggae & Lovers Rock. Faggamuffin founder Gin is a DJ, party starter and cultural facilitator. Through her sets and events she showcases music from the Caribbean whilst also raising awareness and creating safe spaces for the QTIBPoC Caribbean diaspora across the UK.
