LISBON PRIDE AFTER PARTY 2023

Join us for an electrifying and inclusive after-party that celebrates the spirit of LGBTQ+ Pride in Lisbon! Organized by the vibrant and resilient LGBTQ+ community, this event is in response to the disappointment felt when big corporate entities' Pride celebration failed to acknowledge the diverse and vibrant voices within our community, particularly those of drag, ballroom, and the Afro-descendant community. Our after-party aims to create a safe and empowering space where everyone can freely dance, laugh, and express themselves. We believe in the power of unity and solidarity, recognizing that true LGBTQ+ Pride cannot be achieved without acknowledging and uplifting all members of our community. We want to acknowledge the importance of drag artists who proudly perform and promote wide visibility for our community as well as the Afro-Latin community in Portugal which has played an immense role in shaping the nightlife and Ballroom and most certainly all trans artists who fight for space in society for all of us. Strong like the words of Marsha P. Johnson “No pride for some of us, without liberation for all of us.”
