Known for his mastery of live performance, Jonson transforms drum machines and synthesizers into immersive, one-of-a-kind journeys, bridging underground club culture with the sophistication of orchestral collaborations and concert hall performances. His music is a testament to authenticity and innovation, marked by emotional depth and technical brilliance.

Emerging in the early 2000s with releases on influential labels like Perlon, Kompakt, and M_nus, Jonson quickly rose to prominence through groundbreaking tracks such as “Marionette” and “Decompression.” His reputation as both a producer and performer was solidified by multiple awards, cover features in major electronic music magazines, and a consistent ranking among the world’s top live acts. A fiercely independent artist, he writes, performs, and produces all his own material—often adding his voice and percussion—resulting in a sound that is wholly his own.
