A veteran of the city’s underground, he first made his mark within the deep house lineage of Jus-Ed, DJ Qu, Joey Anderson, and Fred P, which preceded the boroughs’ techno resurgence. A longtime collaborator of Levon Vincent through their Deconstruct Music project, Parasole also drew from the 2010s wave of hard techno to shape his own vision, a punishing sound rooted equally in Berlin and Brooklyn’s weighty techno heritage. As a DJ, he brings deep experience and unpredictability, where house morphs into brutal techno and old-school cuts collide with new experiments, all while maintaining a voice that is unmistakably his own. (✿◕‿◕✿) *Beatrice* is a Berlin-based DJ and producer whose sound blends hypnotic rhythms, emotional depth, and raw power rooted in underground techno. Born in Madrid, she relocated to Berlin at a young age in pursuit of music, quickly finding her voice within the city’s demanding club culture. Since then, she has emerged as one of the most compelling contemporary figures in electronic music. A resident at Tresor Berlin, Beatrice has also performed at Berghain and many of the world’s most respected clubs, cementing her place within techno’s most iconic institutions. Her sets extend beyond performance, unfolding as immersive experiences marked by control, vision, and emotional intensity. Through carefully constructed sonic narratives, she balances technical precision with an expressive inner world that is always honest and uncompromising. Over the years, Beatrice has shared lineups with key figures across the global techno landscape, earning respect through consistency, passion, and a sound that speaks for itself. More than a DJ, she is a storyteller and curator of feeling, reminding us why we fell in love with this scene in the first place. (✿◕‿◕✿) Born and raised in west suburban Chicagoland, *Shaun J. Wright* spent their formative years immersed in the sounds of house music. In the late 1980s and early 1990s, house was a powerful cultural force, saturating Chicago’s radio airwaves and shaping the city’s musical identity. Growing up at the epicenter of this movement, Wright’s relationship to dance music deepened through participation in the underground scene that would later be known globally as juke. While studying at Morehouse College in Atlanta, Wright developed their skills as a dancer within the vogue ballroom scene and professional dance companies. After earning an MA in Fashion Curation from the London College of Fashion, they pursued an active career in fashion in New York City. There, in 2008, Wright met Andrew Butler of Hercules & Love Affair, beginning a close collaboration as a vocalist. Over nearly three years, they toured extensively across North and South America and Europe, and are featured prominently on the group’s acclaimed sophomore album, Blue Songs. Returning to Chicago in 2012 to focus on a solo career, Wright began collaborating with DJ and producer Alinka. Following the launch of their party Twirl in 2013, the pair released Twirl Vol. 1 on Classic Music Company, led by Luke Solomon and Derrick Carter. This was followed by the 2014 Journey Into The Deep EP on Twirl Records, featuring remixes from Kim Ann Foxman and Stereogamous. Wright has since collaborated with a wide range of sought-after producers including Chrissy, Kiki, System Of Survival, Stereogamous Bell Boys, Bobmo, and Nicholas, with releases on labels such as Freerange, BPitch Control, Honey Soundsystem & Cocktail D’Amore, Discovery, Marble, and 4Lux. As a DJ, Wright continues to captivate dance floors worldwide, weaving live vocals into sets that span cities including Berlin (Panorama Bar), London, Sydney, Auckland, Stockholm, Barcelona, Los Angeles, New York, and their hometown of Chicago at Smart Bar. (✿◕‿◕✿) *S’aint Panic* is the creative project of Cedric Antonio, a multidisciplinary artist and DJ whose work blends 18 years of NYC performance and nightlife with Baltimore roots. Now a resident DJ at The Carry Nation, their sound fuses hard house, vogue beats, Baltimore club, and black and melodic techno. (✿◕‿◕✿) One half of KIA, *donofrio* will close out the techno room Sunday morning. Originally from New Jersey, she has become a staple of NYC’s underground, delivering drum-forward, genre-spanning sets with a bold, unapologetic edge. (✿◕‿◕✿) *Yumi* is a fixture of the NYC and North American underground, with appearances at Honcho Campout, Sustain-Release, Osmosis, and a wide range of local and international clubs and DIY spaces. Known for deep digging, heady selections, and her Jaywalking show on The Lot Radio, this marks a highly anticipated CHILLzone debut. (✿◕‿◕✿) *Peter Fonda* is a producer and DJ whose practice spans music, sound, and performative dance. Having built speakers with Jim Toth and collaborated extensively with MoMA PS1, their artistic focus centers on social, therapeutic, and embodied approaches to sound. Their releases include work on Parka Records, Lost Soul Enterprises, Lives Through Magic, Ecke Records, Sweat Equity, and Occultists. (✿◕‿◕✿) *Samuel Fish* is the mind behind Outer Orbit Records and a co-founder of Mizz Softee. His curation reflects a wide-ranging sensibility, blending contemporary electronic genres with international legends and local luminaries. A dedicated digger, his sets move fluidly through techno, electro, early trance, deep house, wave, modern breakbeats, vintage tech house, and leftfield selections, emphasizing groove, atmosphere, and intention with a distinctly New York after-hours grit. ▲ ETIQUETTE ▲ Mizz Softee is a warm, welcoming space for all gender, racial, ethnic, sexual, and age identities.
