POSTPONED After relocating to London in 1997, Alan Abrahams began recording as Portable, the experimental, atmospheric project that acts as a living link between the indigenous sounds of his youth, and those first records whose futuristic aesthetic broadened his horizons. He founded the Süd Electronic label with his partner Lerato and released a string of highly regarded 12" releases. A succession of full-length albums followed - Cycling and Futuristic Experiments #005 on Gernan label Background, and Version on ~Scape records. The KhoiKhoi Records boss lands in the District for his Flash debut on Friday, September 9th. // Club Level // Portable soundcloud.com/portable-aka-bodycode ra.co/dj/portable _________________________________ ⠶⠶⠶⠶⠶ Flash Safe Space Policy ⠶⠶⠶⠶⠶ Flash stands firmly against non-consensual behavior, discrimination, harassment or harm of any kind.
