Off The Record, in partnership with the Rome University of Fine Arts, is hosting an exquisitely curated three-day event from Thursday to Saturday, transforming the historic villa into a vibrant crucible of art, music, and craftsmanship. This collaboration seeks to elevate the work of young Italian and international artists engaged in advanced experimental research across both analog and digital fields. The exhibition—curated by Caterina Tomeo, coordinator of the master's degree program in Multimedia Arts and Design—is a tribute to the first electronic music concert held in Rome in the 1960s and curated by Franco Evangelisti. Four unique audiovisual installations, inspired by the works of renowned authors from the past, will be showcased inside the villa, offering the public a perceptive and synaesthetic experience that bridges past and present through innovative audio and visual art. Over the course of three days, the outdoor area will transform into a dance floor with music curated by local and international artists and collectives that perfectly attuned to the essence of Off The Record: Thursday: Small Black Dots x Off The Record with performances by Gwenan, Jane Fitz, Miki, and Nick Friday: Seekers x Off The Record featuring Alex Picone, Desyn, and Rhadoo Saturday: Beautiful Freaks x Off The Record presenting DJ Rino, Jade Seatle, Penelope, Tom Rynders, Vera, and Walrus Beyond the music, the garden will host a curated market celebrating artisans' dedication to craftsmanship and quality.
