Roni Size (Ryan Owen Granville Williams, born October 29, 1969) is a legendary British DJ, record producer, and foundational figure in the drum and bass and jungle genres. Emerging from the Bristol scene, he is best known as the leader of the live drum and bass collective Reprazent, which won the prestigious Mercury Music Prize in 1997 for their platinum-selling debut album New Forms.
Roni Size continues to perform globally, often playing festivals and, in recent years, celebrating the 20th+ anniversary of New Forms with live, hardware-focused sets.
As of 2025, he is heavily focused on studio work, with recent releases including the single "Battle Lines" (2025). He continues to release music, including collaborations with artists like Rag'n'Bone Man, and has worked on projects under his own label, Mansion Sounds.
He remains a respected figure in music technology, collaborating with brands like Waves and Krotos, and advocating for the use of "old school" hardware samplers in modern production.
