It’s Black History Month and we’re coming back for the year of the fire horse with a spiritual healing communal kiki with our friends at @soireemia 💖✨ join us 2/19 for an evening of film, music, dance, and spiritual connection as we uplift our black siblings and members of the QTPOC community with an event rooted in joy, resistance, and power meant to help release, uplift, and ground. ✨Private Film Screening of RAFIKI @rafiki_movie - a black-directed film focusing on two black queer femmes exploring a sapphic relationship in the midst of political upheaval and turmoil in Kenya. RAFIKI was recently unbanned in Kenya this week and is a poignant film exploring black queer love. ✨ Sound healing bath by sound healer & grassroots activist @lew.is2402 ✨ DJ sets by our amazing sound selectors @ladynarcissse @emcee.remi @for.eseer ✨ Spiritual limpiezas & readings offered by Reiki Master & Munay-Ki Curandera @flowingfrequency ✨ Yoruba/Ifá spiritual baths, root candles, & mini consults by our dear friends at @botanicatomasafrancis Roots & Radiance is a sacred container dedicated on centering black, brown, and indigenous queer and trans folks of color. This is a ✨FREE RSVP ENTRY✨ event for all black folks on behalf of BHM with a sliding scale ticket entry from $15-$25 for all other POCs, allies, and comrades. This event will be a communal and spiritual social as well as a skill share and mixer for our Miami community to connect, explore, and share any resources during this time where we are meant to band together, mobilize, and create lasting impact in our community.
