On Friday, October 16th, Sh00k Ones welcomes Australia’s rising star Caleb Jackson to Tigres de la Noche for his DC debut. Hailed by Beatportal as an artist “primed for an international breakthrough,” the New Zealand-born, Sydney-based DJ and producer has quickly become one of the most exciting names coming out of Australia’s underground house scene. From his residency at Sydney’s cult Lost Sundays to dancefloors at fabric London, Shelter Amsterdam, Sisyphos Berlin and Cova Santa Ibiza, Caleb’s rise has taken him well beyond Australia. After a landmark summer that included playing to 5,000 people at Lost Paradise and supporting Michael Bibi at Carriageworks, he’s continued his run across Europe with appearances for PIV, Defected and some of the scene’s most respected clubs and festivals. At the center of it all is Party Favours, Caleb’s own imprint and party series built around his signature blend of nostalgic soul, groove and modern house. What started as a free-download series has grown into a global community, with his music earning support from Jamie Jones, The Martinez Brothers, Joseph Capriati, Archie Hamilton, Prunk and more.
