Sundays In The Atrium: Darker Than Wax With Kyle Hall + Marco Weibel

Singapore-born, New-York-based Marco Weibel kicks off his 2026 Darker Than Wax residency alongside Detroit’s Kyle Hall. Weibel’s label and event series platforms old and new—but always historically-rooted—underground styles between Asia and the US. Hall’s legacy began in the late 2000s and early 2010s after a series of acclaimed releases hit the loudspeakers. Combining classic Detroit techno and house with his own unique style, Hall draws on a wide range of influences, from jazz and funk to hip-hop and beyond. Through their vinyl-forward sets, the two tastemakers share a pervasiveness of musical depth, building on the foundations of soul, blues, gospel, and all their offshoots with intricate rhythms meant for the modern dance floor. - Public Records aims to provide a safer space.
