ABOUT THE ARTISTS maenad is a musician and multimedia artist based in Brooklyn. Training originally as a classical singer, she found a home in the queer club scene where a strong sense of community and love has inspired her to infuse her djing with emotional vocal tracks and warm sentimental sounds. She seeks constantly to share euphoria found only on the dance floor and to uplift and celebrate trans people. Recent events include tossd (Brooklyn, 07/24), Club Toilet (Detroit, 2024), and regularly at Animal (Brooklyn) microfossil is a queens-based dj driven by the love, relationships, and possibilities he has found on the dancefloor. born and raised in manhattan, he particularly enjoys engaging with and celebrating new york's rich dance music, club, and queer history. playing from a wide range of genres, he has a soft spot for house and electro. he has recently played at jade, happyfun hideaway, and metropolitan bar, where he co-organizes the monthly party top surgery with elly dj.
