trëma puts the accent where it matters. They speak, move, and sound in their own distinctive way. Inspired by late-night, cosmopolitan experiences, they search for the missing vowels of the musical alphabet, the ones that dance floors forgot to punctuate. The concept is simple: to turn the dance floor into a playground. A friendship forged in 2022 at the Paredes de Coura Festival quickly set the tone for a shared love of music and the joy of playing it together. Rui Rosa, a singer-songwriter originally from Torres Novas, Lisbon-based by choice, and author of the EP “Lisboa é um Jardim”, is passionate about music hidden in the corners of the world and deep within dance floors. He joins forces with fajardo, a Lisbon-born, obsessive music digger who, at the age of seven, bought the legendary Olá Love2Dance compilation, an early gateway into Dance Music through artists like Safri Duo, 4Tune 500, and Echoman. World groove, indie, disco, and house form the foundations of their sound. Musical shape-shifters by nature, they relentlessly chase the perfect loop, weaving unexpected sonic connections that are immersive, playful, and challenging, merging different musical languages into one universal dance floor.
