TOY MAGYA is a conceptual electronic music party and sensory art project that investigates play, magic, and perception as tools for collective re-enchantment. Emerging from a critical parody of the Brazilian queer slang boy magia, the project displaces the idealized masculine figure in favor of the toy: a genderless, mutable, and playful device open to experimentation, desire, and transformation.
Rather than treating the club as a site of entertainment alone, TOY MAGYA understands the dance floor as a performative system in which sound, light, body, and atmosphere operate through active correspondences. The project rejects fixed sensory hierarchies, proposing instead an unstable, open field where experience is continuously fabricated in the present.
Music functions not as background but as an atmospheric force, while performance acts as a playful activation of space rather than a separate spectacle. DJs, performers, and the audience co-author each night through interaction, unpredictability, and the shared production of an intensified present.
In TOY MAGYA, nothing illustrates anything - everything responds. Each iteration unfolds as a singular composition, a magical toy only fully realized through collective participation and impermanence.

A full-time night creature from São Paulo's most surrealistic and recondite corners: from hosting the hot @dronawrld parties to stamping flyers of the holy & infamous @festadando, @mateus.rodriguesss, one of the heads behind @corkcultures and part of the Italian Lisbon-based collective @por.nouveau, likes to think that the italo disco and EBM tracks have the power to shake your body to the bones and craft a dance floor atmosphere like no other rhythms. And this is exactly his plan for his comeback to the Front Bar DJ booth: sexy, dark and playful are not negotiable principles.
