The words “world-renowned” and “influential” get thrown around all too often these days, to the point of almost becoming cliché. While few artists actually measure up, all it takes is one look at Victor Calderone’s 20+year track record and the facts speak for themselves. From past collaborations with some of the biggest names in pop like Madonna, Sting and Beyoncé Knowles, to more recent collaborations with the likes of Adam Beyer, Richie Hawtin, Nicole Moudaber and Paco Osuna, Victor’s constantly evolving approach and contributions to the worlds of house and techno music has earned him a place firmly at the top among the world’s most prolific DJs and producers.
Introduced to New York nightlife at only 15 years of age by his older brother Cesar, Victor quickly developed an intense passion for dance music that would form the foundation for the Brooklyn native’s remarkable career. While his accomplishments as a remixer, producer and DJ are well known among those in the scene, Victor understands and appreciates the importance of continually evolving. He has reinvented his musical style and now treats listeners to an edgier darker sound.
An influential and inspirational talent, Victor has entertained millions of people, generously donated to charitable causes and earned the utmost respect of his peers, all while boldly pushing the universal limits of originality and ingenuity.
Driss Skali is an event organizer, promoter, talent buyer, music producer, and DJ. Originally from Morocco, he threw the first electronic music party there in 1997, and due to its success, followed with a beach party in 1998 with 2,500 attendees. Nevertheless, he left Morocco for Montreal in 1999. Attracted by the music scene in Canada, his goal was to start a DJ career somewhere with better access to music and gear. Despite moving, he worked with the collective Moroko Loko for years and maintained a residency at Pacha Marrakech, and to this day still keeps an eye on the development of the scene in Morocco.
Driss founded Who's Who Music, a company that organizes events through talent buying and curation in the city of Montreal since 2005. He also co-founded the record label Casbour Records in 2012, while intensifying touring as a DJ through Europe, Morocco, and North America. From 2010 until 2016, Driss worked as the talent buyer and curator for the Family Piknik Festival in Montpellier, France. His years of experience and familiarity with the music scene in several countries allow him to diversify the projects he takes on today. He began the organization of and currently curates the Anomalia night in London at the Steelyard. Driss co-founded the SXM Festival on the island of St Martin, which celebrated its second edition in 2017, and takes care of the artistic direction, talent buying, and curation.
